School Events

School events help build community spirit throughout the entire school community. In  addition to students, most events encourage faculty, parents and alumni participation.

Commencement

Commencement is our annual celebration of and salute to the graduation senior class of Bay Ridge Preparatory School.  This event is the culminating event of our students' time at Bay Ridge Prep.  Faculty from the Lower, Middle and High Schools attend and watch along with families and alumni as our graduates receive their diplomas and begin the next chapter of their lives.  Commencement-related activities include the Senior Awards Dinner and the Senior Breakfast/Graduation Practice.

Turkey Trot

The Turkey Trot has been held each fall since the school's founding in 1998. The race brings everyone together for an afternoon of fun and fitness, and to raise funds to enrich our unique educational programs.  The 13th Annual Turkey Trot will take place on Friday, November 19, 2010. The 3rd annual Turkey Trot Alumni Pasta Dinner will be held the evening before.
