College Guidance

College Guidance at Bay Ridge Preparatory School is comprehensive and begins in Middle School with the unique College Ed program offered in conjunction with The College Board, which allows students to explore college and career choices before entering high school.

In High School, College Guidance shifts to SAT Prep and the actual college admissions process. SAT Prep begins in the Ninth Grade and is offered to students throughout their entire High School career. Juniors and seniors meet with visiting college admissions representatives, and attend workshops such as our annual College Essay Writing Workshop. Juniors and seniors along with their parents also attend college planning workshops on such topics as finding the right college, securing scholarships, applying for financial aid, and help organizing individual college searches, among others.
